Mrs. Flores

Sandra Flores died on April 29, 2024, at the age of 58.

Sandra was born on Aug. 1, 1965, in Del Rio to Alfonso and Oralia Flores. Raised in a large and affectionate family, she was outgoing and always had a smile on her face. Sandra completed her education at Del Rio High School before building her home in Lometa.

For over three decades, she devoted her life to being a loving wife to Lino Moreno and a nurturing mother to her two children, Aurora Reyes and Juan Moreno. Sandra also found immense joy in being a grandmother to her two grandchildren, Marcus and Julia Moreno.

Sandra enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren at school and sporting events, and relished the time spent together at family gatherings and holidays. Her patience and kindness endeared her to all who knew her, and she will be remembered for the positive impact she made on the lives of those around her.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 32 years, Lino Moreno; her children Aurora Reyes and partner Chase Michalak, and Juan Moreno and partner Dani Sanchez; grandchildren Marcus and Julia Moreno; and a wide circle of other relatives.

Visitation was held at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas on May 2.

A memorial service will take place at First Baptist Church of Lometa on May 4 at 10 a.m. Burial service will follow at Lometa Cemetery.
