Mr. Millsap

Robert "Cootie" L. Millsap, 94, of Lampasas, died on July 6, 2022, at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen.

Graveside services will be held July 12 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Robert was born in Lampasas on July 24, 1927, to Robert and Oddie Millsap.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Robert loved hunting, fishing, raising cattle and working his land, as well as spending time with family and friends. Most of his work career was spent on Fort Hood as an industrial director with the Civil Service. He leaves behind a beloved dog, Bobbie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Millsap, in 2012; a brother-in-law, David Ray Scott; and many other family members.

Survivors include his cousin, Helen Earl Tatum; sister-in-law, Barbara Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
